Our International Chief Instructor Higaonna Sensei and Chris Sensei together after training on Tokashiki island during November of 2006. Chris Sensei travels regularly to teach and train. We are planning a special Dojo trip to Okinawa to train with Sensei during June and July of 2011. At this time four of our members may participate in a Dan level grading. While the trip is 21 months away, both training and saving have been put into place for this event. Until you have trained with Higaonna Sensei, particulaly on Okinawa, you are missing a significant part of your Goju Ryu experience. |

| The Iceland Gasshuku 2008 Chris Sensei was invited to teach in Iceland in 2008, and had a wonderful time with the Icelanders. Many thanks to all the organizers and the participants. Iceland is a beautiful country, and is a highly recommended travel destination. |
